UL498 Figure 74.1 Gauges usage:
Prior to testing, the reference plug shown in Figure 74.1 is to be cleaned with a metal cleaner. The
reference plug, the test plugs, and the hands of each individual conducting the test are to be washed with
soap and water, rinsed, and then dried.
